- Arhar or Toovar Dal – 1/4 cup
- Gram lentils 1/4 cup
- Washed moong dal – 1/4 cup
- Chikal Moong Dal – 1/4 cup
- Washed urad dal – 1/4 cup
- Ginger – 1-inch piece (finely chopped)
- Cumin – 1 tsp
- Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- Turmeric – 1 tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Dry Whole Chilli – 2-3
- Bay leaves – 2
- Cloves – 2
- Green cardamom – 2
- Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- Onion – 2 (finely chopped)

- Baati – 2 to 3
- Ghee – 2 tbsp

- Cardamom powder – 1 tsp
- Sugar/Jaggery – 4 tbsp (ground)

How To Make Bati Recipe?
- Mix four cups of flour, one cup of semolina, and 4 tablespoons of ghee, celery, and salt in a vessel.
- With the help of water knead the flour into a little hard dough.
- Break a little dough from the kneaded dough and make medium-sized balls.
- Heat the gas tandoor. When it is hot, keep the dough balls in the oven for roasting.
- Roast these balls in the oven by turning them upside down.
- The bati’s will start to brown and burst, take out the baked bati’s from the oven and keep them on a plate.
- And after melting the remaining ghee, crack the fried batis in it, dip them in ghee, take them out and put them on a plate.
How To Make Mix Dal Recipe?
- Wash all the pulses in clean water and soak them in water for an hour.
- After one hour, add three cups of water or salt and turmeric powder to the cooker and keep it on the gas to cook.
- Lower the flame after one whistle. Now slow down the gas, after 3 to 4 whistles, turn off the gas and prepare the tempering until the cooker cools down.
- When the cooker cools down, mash the dal with a spoon, if the dal is too thick then add some hot water.
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan or wok, add cumin, asafoetida, red chili, bay leaf, cinnamon, small cardamom, ginger, green chili, and onion, fry till it turns light brown, then add coriander powder, red chili powder, tomato Cook till it melts.
- Then add boiled lentils to it, mix well and add garam masala powder, and green coriander and cook till it starts boiling. Then turn off the gas and add lemon juice and green coriander to it.

- Allow the prepared Baati to cool slightly, then break it and grind it in a grinder. Mix powdered sugar, dry fruits of your choice, and a spoonful of ghee in the bati.
