- 1-liter Milk
- 1/2 cup Rice
- 2 tbsp Raisins
- 15-16 chopped Almonds
- 7-8 threads of saffron
- 1/2 cup makhana
- 8-10 cashew
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 1/2 cup sugar (as per taste)
Method Of kheer Making
- To make milk Kheer full of taste,
- First, clean the rice and soak it in water for a few hours.
- Cut the almonds, cashew nuts, and makhana into small pieces.
- Put the milk in a pan and heat it over medium heat.
- When the milk reaches its full bubble, add the soaked rice and thoroughly mix it with a ladle.
- Cook the milk rice to cook for 7 to 8 minutes on medium heat to ensure that the rice is thorough.
- After that, reduce the heat to low and add the cardamom powder and sugar.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes after adding raisins, cashews, almonds, and makhana.
- Cover the pan and continue to cook the kheer on low heat for 5 minutes. Then, turn off the gas.
- Your delectable Shahi Kheer is now ready to serve.
- You can put it in the refrigerator to cool down if you wish. This improves the flavor of the kheer much more.
